Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville is an adult-only beach hotel with customized service. The resort has areas where you can enjoy privacy, a pool surrounded by lush gardens, a restaurant with buffet service, and an oceanfront restaurant. The resort has a spa with cabins for couples with jacuzzi, a bar with casino slot machines, and a nine-hole golf course. The resort has other a la carte restaurants, a nightclub, a water activities center, a theater, and conference facilities. The 244 junior suites offer butler service, balcony or terrace, whirlpool tub, and 24-hour room service. The resort is located 16 kilometers (10 mi) from the town of San Pedro de Macorís and 33 kilometers (20.5 mi) west of the city of La Romana. Altos de Chavón, which is the replica of a Mediterranean village with plenty of craft workshops and stores, is 44 kilometers (27.3 mi) away. La Romana International Airport (LRM) is 41 kilometers (25.5 mi) from the hotel.
