Malocas Jungle Lodge

Hotel by the riverbank in Rio Preto da Eva

Malocas Jungle Lodge is an eco-friendly hotel built with indigenous techniques, that tries to keep away the guests from the technology, and captures only the necessary energy by solar panels. The hotel is located on the banks of Preto da Eva River, 120 kilometers (393 ft) from the city of Manaus, where the Church of San Sebastian, Amazonas Theater, and Tourism Avenue are set. Malocas Jungle Lodge is 35 kilometers (21 mi) to the south of the town with same name, and 35 kilometers (21 mi) to the north of Meeting of Waters in the Amazon River. Eduardo Gomes International Airport (MAO) is 120 kilometers (72 mi) away. The 12 guest rooms at the Malocas Jungle Lodge are distributed along cabanas made of natural materials without electricity. All rooms are equipped with table and chairs and private bath with shower. Mosquito nets are not necessary since the acidity of the river prevents their spread. Facilities at the Malocas Jungle Lodge include a restaurant, where you can enjoy regional dishes prepared with fresh products, a reading room, a playground, and a children's pool. The hotel offers activities including sport fishing, hiking, boat rides, and activities with the local indigenous and linguistic sessions.
