Moon Palace Cancun is a luxury all-inclusive hotel with activities and facilities for the whole family, located on the outskirts of Cancun, in the Riviera Maya. Guests have direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region and a wide gastronomic offer that includes 16 international haute cuisine restaurants and 10 bars that serve premium drinks. Lagoon-style outdoor pools at the Moon Palace are among the largest in Mexico, they are located along the beach and surrounded by bars and sitting areas. The hotel offers amenities and areas specially designed for children and teens, and adults have access to the nightlife, exciting tours, the Awe Spa with relaxing treatments, and a 27-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Its more than 2,000 elegant rooms, most of them with ocean view, are equipped with marble bathroom with shower, hydromassage tub for two, minibar, liquor dispenser and coffee maker. The Moon Palace is 20 kilometers (12 mi) from downtown and 10 kilometers (6 mi) from Cancun International Airport (CUN). ***The local government has a mandatory tax of $67.42 MXN per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel. ***The Moon Palace golf course in Cancun is the first Latin American to achieve the GEO high environmental quality certification. ***Any reservation of 10 or more rooms is considered a group reservation and has special conditions.
