Our Habitas Bacalar is located on the shores of the lake, and is ideal for water activities, such as SUP yoga, paddle boarding, and rides on a transparent kayak, or on a catamaran. This adult-only hotel has a bar and an outdoor restaurant that serves local and seasonal products. There is a wellness program with activities such as yoga, Spa services, temascal, and treatments based on local ingredients such as melipona, coconut, and cocoa honey. Decor of the rooms is inspired by the land with neutral tones, and offer partial views of the lake or the jungle. Accommodations are fitted with a terrace, outdoor rain shower, and relaxing bath amenities made with natural local products. Guest rooms are also equipped with WiFi, minibar, bathrobes, and hairdryer. The property includes areas to celebrate events such as weddings to accommodate up to 80 guests, on the deck that overlooks the crystal-clear waters or in the restaurant. The property is 10 kilometers (6.2 mi from the Blue Sinkhole, 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) from Fortress of San Felipe Bacalar, and 30 kilometers (18.6 mi) from the state capital and Chetumal International Airport (CTM). ***The local government has a mandatory tax of $26.06 MXN or $1.40 USD per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel. ***Before your trip, please check with the national government the entry and stay requirements of the country you are visiting.
