Playacar Palace is an all-inclusive beach hotel in the Playacar resort, a short distance from the best restaurants and entertainment centers of Playa del Carmen. The hotel is near the pier that offers ferry service to the island of Cozumel. Cancún International Airport (CUN) is 64 kilometers (39.8 mi) from the hotel. The resort has 201 guest rooms beautifully decorated, all of them with a whirlpool tub for two. Amenities include a minibar, interactive satellite TV, coffeemaker, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, and iron and board. Most accommodations offer a balcony and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Concierge, Walk-out, and Governor rooms offer espresso and cappuccino coffeemaker, a liquor dispenser with premium beverages, and Apple TV®. Taste a wide range of culinary specialties in any of the restaurants or enjoy your meals through the 24-hour room service. Have fun in the outdoor pool, which offers a bar and a shallow area for children. The supervised children´s club offers movies, an area with video games for TV and tablet, and a slide with obstacles, where children under 4 years must be accompanied by an adult. Guests can book a golf package to play at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort and enjoy unlimited golf rounds, round-trip transportation to the golf course, free use of the pool, and complimentary meals and drinks. Registered guests at Playacar Palace can enjoy the other Palace Resorts at no extra charge. ***Playacar Palace is the recipient of the Four Diamond rating from the AAA. ***Any reservation of 10 or more rooms is considered a group reservation and has special conditions. Contact information is provided on your itinerary, once the reservation has been confirmed. ***The local government has a mandatory tax of between $26.06 MXN or $1.40 USD per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel. ***Early check-out penalty is the cost of the full stay (penalty of 100%); there are no refunds in case the guest decides to leave the hotel in advance.
